1815

(ca.) Widow Ruth Emerson and her son Ralph Waldo Emerson live here in 1816. Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. and his family rent an apartment above a store here for a short time. The building is demolished to make way for construction of the Boston Athenaeum in 1846.
